Terms of Use

These terms explain how CreatorLift memberships work, what genuine community engagement means, how payments and refunds are handled, and what happens if the rules are broken.

Effective date: 3 August 2026 · Operated by CreatorLift · Contact admin@joincreatorlift.com

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and CreatorLift ("CreatorLift", "we", "us"), the operator of the CreatorLift community learning membership platform available at joincreatorlift.com and its subdomains (the "Platform").

By creating an account, signing in with Google, paying for a membership or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

This page is maintained by CreatorLift and may be updated from time to time. Material changes are announced in-app and by email to the address on your account at least seven (7) days before they take effect, except where an immediate change is required by law or to protect members.

2. Eligibility and account registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher.
  • You must sign in with a valid Google account and confirm the six-digit verification code we email to that address. One person may hold only one CreatorLift account.
  • Any YouTube channel you connect must be owned by, and verifiably linked to, the same Google account used to register. Channels that cannot be verified through the YouTube Data API will be rejected or removed.
  • You are responsible for the security of your Google account, your verification codes and all activity that occurs under your CreatorLift account.
  • You must supply accurate profile information (name, country, state, city, interests) and keep it current. Accounts created with false identity or ownership claims may be terminated without refund.

3. Memberships, plans and renewals

CreatorLift is a paid community. Membership plans (currently Standard and VIP) determine your weekly video submission quota, your channel discovery placements, monthly direct-message initiations and referral bonuses. Current entitlements and prices are shown on the Membership page and form part of these Terms.

  • One active subscription. An account may hold only one active membership at a time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period so you keep the benefits you paid for.
  • Term and renewal. Memberships run for the period shown at checkout. A renewal countdown is displayed on your Membership page. You may cancel at any time before renewal; cancellation stops future charges and keeps access until the period ends.
  • Quotas. Weekly submission quotas and recommendation targets (1,000 subscriber recommendations for Standard, 2,000 for VIP) reset or progress according to the automated distribution rules described on the Platform. Unused quota does not carry over.
  • Price changes. We may change plan pricing with at least fourteen (14) days' notice. Changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

4. Payments and refunds

  • Card payments are processed by Paystack. CreatorLift does not receive or store your full card number, CVV or PIN.
  • Paystack card checkout is the only accepted payment method. Membership activates automatically as soon as Paystack confirms the transaction.
  • Fraudulent proof of payment, chargeback abuse or reversed transfers result in immediate suspension and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
  • Refunds. Because membership benefits (task distribution, discovery placements, feedback) are delivered immediately and consumed by other members, fees are generally non-refundable. We will refund in full where a payment was duplicated, charged in error, or where we terminate your membership without cause. Requests must be sent to admin@joincreatorlift.com within fourteen (14) days of the charge.
  • Taxes, bank charges and currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider are your responsibility.

5. Community learning tasks and genuine engagement

The core of CreatorLift is reciprocal learning: members watch, study and support one another's channels and exchange structured feedback. Tasks are distributed automatically based on your stated interests and the community distribution rules.

  • Watch progress is measured as unique watched seconds through the YouTube IFrame Player API. The required threshold is 50% of the video. Skipping, seeking ahead, muted background playback or automation does not count.
  • Subscribe and comment targets are verified against YouTube where permission scopes allow. Completion may be re-verified server-side at any time, including after a task is marked complete.
  • Feedback must be specific, respectful and based on what you actually watched. Generic, copy-pasted, AI-spun or abusive feedback is treated as a breach.
  • Tasks expire three (3) days after assignment. Repeated expiry lowers your completion rate and account standing.
  • Prohibited: unsubscribing shortly after completing a task, view or engagement bots, multi-accounting, buying or selling engagement, sub-for-sub outside the Platform's own mechanics, and any attempt to manipulate watch tracking or verification.

6. Your content, submissions and licence

You retain all ownership of your channel, videos, feedback and messages. By submitting a video URL, profile details, feedback or a message on the Platform, you grant CreatorLift a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform — including showing your video as a learning task to matched members, displaying your channel in discovery and leaderboards, and sharing your feedback with the video owner.

  • You may only submit videos you own and that are public and embeddable.
  • You must not submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, infringing, or that violates YouTube's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Feedback you write may be shown to the creator and, in aggregate or anonymised form, used to improve matching and quality scoring.
  • We may remove any submission or feedback that breaches these Terms, and may retain moderation records as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use and community guidelines

When using CreatorLift you agree not to:

  • Spam, solicit, or self-promote in direct messages or feedback fields.
  • Impersonate another creator, brand or CreatorLift staff.
  • Harass, threaten, dox or discriminate against any member.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, probe or overload the Platform or its APIs.
  • Circumvent quotas, rate limits, verification, payment or access controls.
  • Resell, share or transfer your account or membership benefits.

You must report conduct that breaks these rules using the in-app report tools so our moderation team can act.

8. YouTube and third-party services

CreatorLift uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke CreatorLift's access to your Google data at any time via Google security settings or the YouTube tab in Settings.

CreatorLift is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. Metrics displayed on the Platform are provided by the YouTube Data API and may be delayed, cached or temporarily unavailable due to API quotas or outages. Payment processing depends on Paystack and email delivery on our email provider; we are not responsible for their downtime.

9. Account standing, suspension and appeals

Your standing (good standing, needs improvement, at risk, under review, suspended) is calculated from completion rate, on-time delivery, feedback quality and community reports. It is visible on your Account status page.

  • Persistently poor participation can automatically move your account to at risk, then to suspension, and — for repeated or severe breaches such as fake engagement or payment fraud — to deletion.
  • Suspension pauses task distribution and discovery placements. Fees already paid are not refunded where suspension results from your breach.
  • You may submit an appeal from the Account status page. Appeals are reviewed by a human moderator and you will receive a written decision with reasoning and decision history.
  • You may close your account at any time from Settings. Closure does not entitle you to a refund of the current period.

10. Intellectual property

The CreatorLift name, logo, tagline, interface, copy, design system, matching and distribution logic, and all related software are owned by CreatorLift and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

No growth guarantee. CreatorLift provides a learning and support community. We do not guarantee subscribers, views, watch time, monetisation, revenue or any specific channel outcome. Results depend on your content and on the actions of other members.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free metrics, or that automated verification will always detect every breach.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreatorLift's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the total membership fees you paid in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or loss of channel standing. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately where you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraud or fake engagement, put other members at risk, or where required by law. Where practicable we give notice and an opportunity to appeal. On termination, your right to use the Platform ends, pending tasks are cancelled, and we retain records as set out in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law, changes and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.

Questions about these Terms: admin@joincreatorlift.com. We aim to respond within one business day.
